So it was enlightening to relisten to my 2007 interview with Jesse Larner author of Forgive Us Our Spins: Michael Moore and the Future of the Left. Larner takes apart award-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore’s blatant misrepresentations of truth in his award-winning documentaries. Remember Moore’s first documentary ‘Roger and Me’? The premise was Moore pursued but never got to interview General Motors head, Roger Smith. Turns out Moore did interview Roger Smith. Twice. Larner presents this and other blatant misrepresentations in the Moore documentaries haled by progressives. He concludes by calling on thoughtful conservatives to criticize the blatant falsehoods of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. As of 2022, Larner works at the marketing and research firm the Gauda Group.
