The New Yorker published an article on July 22nd 2022 titled “The Real Backlash Never Ended. Three decades later, Susan Faludi’s 1991 feminist classic still shows us how to read between the lines” about Faludi’s book ‘Backlash: The Undeclared War Against Women’. In this 1991 interview, Faludi discussed the false twofold message that persists today: feminism had already changed everything, and, feminism itself was the reason that women were now “miserable.”
