15 years ago - Couples line up to register for domestic partnerships

July 23rd, 2007 Washington State allowed same sex couples to register for domestics partnerships conveying some, but not all the right of married couples. Some the people lined up in Olympia spoke to Northwest News Network correspondent Tom Banse. Five years later, February 13, 2012, Governor Christine Gregoire signed legislation that established full marriage rights for same-sex couples in the state of Washington.
