Seattle rapper Macklemore aka Ben Haggerty (born June 19, 1983) came out with his latest recording ‘Ben’ in March. It recounts the joys of stardom and Seattle, along with the difficulties of substance abuse, very similar themes I discussed with him and his producer Ryan Lewis October 8, 2012, the day before their soon-to-be blockbuster album ‘The Heist’ was released. He also explains how he became Macklemore.
