Siddharta Mukherjee

Siddharta Mukherjee (born July 21, 1970) is an Indian-American physician, Pulitzer prize winning author for his 2010 book, The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer, and a writer for the New Yorker. His new book is Song of the Cell. He talks about the early excruciating days of cell therapy to treat cancer in Seattle, plagued by high fatality rates before gradually improving. He describes the cell as a factory and takes us on a trip inside a cell. I interviewed him at Seattle Town Hall September 16th, 2022
