Richard Powers
In 2014 I spoke to Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Richard Powers about his “Orfeo”. It’s about Peter Els, a 70-year-old retired music professor who becomes a suspected bio-terrorist. He’s dubbed the ‘Biohacker Bach’. He flees and in a cross-country drive relives key parts of his life. Powers is known for the ecological novel.
You can find my interview with Powers here.
Powers is back in the spotlight for his newest book ‘Playground’ about the wonders of the ocean and the terrors of artificial intelligence.
