The Nobel prize winning novelist Doris Lessing 1919-2013 (‘The Golden Notebook’, ‘The Grass is Singing’) reflects on returning to Zimbabwe where she grew up. Her book ‘African Laughter’ is an unsparing account of colonization and liberation.
