Chuck Jones

Spokane-born Chuck Jones (1912 – 2002) wrote, produced, and/or directed classic Warner Brothers Looney Tunes cartoon shorts starring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, and Porky Pig, among others. In this 1989 interview he explains the inspiration for Bugs, Daffy, and his other memorable characters; how he worked with voice actor Mel Blanc; and why he wasn’t a big fan of computer generated animation.
