Bill Irwin 1989

Bill Irwin (born April 11, 1950) is a prolific clown, mime, actor, dancer and comedian. In 1989 I got a chance to speak with him about 'Largely New York,’ The New York Times called it “Mr. Irwin's not-quite describable 70-minute comic odyssey into the realms of street dance, modern dance, drama, performance art, magic, clowning, mime, video, nouvelle vaudeville and old soft shoe”. He describes how video tends to grab our attention more than real life.
